Seriously wondered what was going on with him and why no PT. Always nice to have someone like 72 on speed dial?

I don't think your being fair to Kelly. Though at this point he's a failed coach and it's time to move on.

I actually think he's done a great job developing talent. There's been an uptick in guys getting drafted and having pro careers. He's also done a good job finding under the radar recruits and turning them in stars. RidRichard procise fuller were not huge recruits but he found ways to turn them into effective players. Kizer was a 2nd tier web recruit and he's projected number one overall at the draft this year. McGlincheybseemsnto be a lock as a top 20 pick.

It's been almost entirely the defensive side of the ball. He hasn't gotten the job done.

As far as scandals go the vast majority of them are only scandals at ND.

Where is everyone seeing Kizer projected as a potential #1 overall pick? I haven't seen anyone have him in the top 50 on their big boards on in the top 5 at the position. Pretty much everyone I've seen has Watson, Kaaya, Falk, Rudoplh & Mahomes as their top 5 QBS with only Watson & Kaaya being locks to go in the 1st round.

Only guy I've seen pegged to go #1 overall is Nolan Patrick. Who are these other guys?

They're the guys I've seen most commonly mentioned as the top 5 QBs available in the 2017 draft, only Waston(Clemson) has been mentioned as a potential #1 overall pick. Kiper has Watson at #4 on his big board behind Garrett, Williams and Fournette. Where did you see Patrick as the #1? After I started looking a little more I actually did find a site or 2 that had Kizer going #1 but I didn't see anyone with Patrick #1.

Edit: Nevermind I saw the answer in the next post.

Really hope RW answers my question about Pouliot and him having another sub-par preseason as part of his next blog. With it being Monday I could really use the entertainment.

What do you think about J.B. Bukauskas from North Carolina? Seems to by hyped pretty highly.

Bud I use this new technology. Its called google. He's listed #1 on about half of what I pull up - CBs, Walter sports etc.

I use that google thing as well and as I said after some in-depth looking I was able to find sites that had Kizer listed as #1. I don't usually look at CBS or Walters because their information isn't usually all that accurate which is why I initially missed Kizer being ranked at #1. Those were the only 2 I pulled up that had Kizer #1, most had Garrett #1 and Watson the #1 QB.

Love the kid. I could see him being an upgrade to Cole in the Pirates rotation if they were able to snag him in the draft, should be able to move through the minors fairly quickly as a college draftee.
