Then the picks were announced and was like god damn they need to start drug testing GMs prior to the draft..

All 3 of those guys were rated higher than who they took, with the exception of zrobril I think who was a solid pick then. If dman at that position your options were between him and chabot.

I can't say I remember clearly, because the Isles had no 1st round pick and I didn't pay a ton of attention, but I thought Zboril was projected as more of a late(r) 1st round pick. I remember seeing a lot about Chabot in that range though.

By all accounts Parker Wotherspoon has really developed nicely and the organization is seemingly very high on him. He played some playoff games in Bridgeport last year after Tri-City's season ended, that says a lot considering he isn't even eligible to join the Sound Tigers yet, even if they wanted him.

FWIW, Oilers and #Blackhawks did discuss Mark McNeill a few months ago.

If by some miracle, Snow can bring Kucherov to the isles (starting with Strome and whatever else to Ari), then i'll take back anything negative i've ever said about him. Phuck, i'll buy a #30 Jersey and wear it to every game i attend.
