no mcllrath. neives and jooris play

- NYRangers1124

Interesting. If Jooris is healthy, his availability complicates manners
Not that surprised about McI, though I would have played him to be able to make more of a full assessment about his play

Anyone else think Gerbe makes the opening night roster on the 4th line?

Am I the only one who thinks he had a strong camp?

I cant see it. even though he had a strong camp, they signed him early, then they made moves and got a lot younger. no need to sacrifice an opportunity for a younger player for Gerbe who isn't part of the long term plan for the organization.

instead of seeking vengeance on Gudas, they should send Gostisbehere out in an ambulette mid second period.
- jimbro83

Nah, I'd still rather See McIlrath pummel him at least twice. No need to stoop to the Flyers level, just let them know, our guy will kick your guys arse and just because of that he will be in the lineup every single time they play the LFyers as a reminder

We are talking 4th line. None of the younger guys have the speed he does. He is by far the best forward in the defensive zone out of all the players fighting for a spot. He is excellent on the PK, which was an abomination last year. I honestly don't see how you don't start him.

So who's roster spot is he taking in your scenario?

4th line is wide open. No ones. Everyone is fighting for the 4th line. Other than Fast, those other 2 spots are open for anyone.

Still can't believe we traded him away for Richardie (and his bunkmate Thole).

And, as a side note - the site won't even let me type in Di ckie. Automatically changes it to Richardie!

He's played twice, has been on the ice for 3 of the 7 goals the Rangers allowed in those two games, including a beauty in the 2nd Devils game where he dove at the puck carrier behind the net, put himself completely out of position while the man he should've been covering had an easy tap in at the front. Again, I'm rooting for him to bounce back, but against AHLers and rookies, it already doesn't look good. Lets see if he has a strong game tonight to close out preseason.

yeah I know, just being facetious

one of Girardi's biggest supporters forever now, but I don't see much hope
