If you read the article, it states that it's Jooris vs Pirri for the 4C spot.
Brooks' articles analyzing games, players performances, etc (stuff like Zedd's Dead) are stupid and sensational, but when it comes to contracts, lineups, trades and other actual roster decisions, the dude is spot on. - RAGSareDANGERus
Love him or hate him, Brooks is a must read for Ranger fans. |

Has Brooks really been right on trades? I rarely ever read the guy, but I don't think his track record is very good at all.
And I'm not talking about easy deadline trades that all of us on here have guessed right |

How can you hate him then if you rarely read him? |

Cause what I have read and have seen in the interviews grates on me. He is like Sam out of the booth. |

Brooks gets a lot of face time on those NHL Rivalry shows when they talk about the Rangers. Again, he is the go to guy around here for all things Rangers. |

He is a lot more sane than Sam at this point. I think this is the year when it will become painfully obvious that Rosen should step aside. |

I don't know. I see nothing that he writes that isn't brought up on here multiple times before he even writes an article. |

Yea he has been. For contracts in particular. The dudes like "the Rangers are willing to offer Player X a 4 year contract between 4m and 4.3m AAV" and the player will sign right in the middle at 4.15m AAV for 4 years 2 weeks later. He's done that with both of Stepan's contracts, Miller's, Staal's, Dubinsky's, etc. |

Don't think the KHL counts. Could be wrong though - mdw7413
The NHL seems to try to deny the KHL exists. That's why Panarin was eligible for the Kreider, oops, I mean Calder last year. So, I would be surprised if they acknowledge it for expansion. |
