Apparently the guy wasn't there when police showed up, they have had conversations with him and are asking the public to assist. Before judging and sentencing this guy let the authorities arrest the proper individual.

That being said, these incidents happen in every ballpark, or sporting event. And it's not an Blue Jays exclusive issue...more to come.

Exactly. I see why they made you a mod.

Are they going to do a witch hunt every time something is thrown on the field? This is ridiculous, and a total waste of time. Only reason this is being done is because it was the only baseball game that night, and the entire world was watching, and Toronto has mud all over its face.

I wonder if the vancouver police will go back and look at video and find that fan who threw his hat on the ice after Sedins hat trick goal.

Me too. Nolan Patrick would be a nice prospect to have in the system.

I think part of the reason for the Canuck hate is that a lot of the people reporting have actually no idea who is on the roster besides the Sedins and Miller.

I see the Nucks as a bubble team this year. Much like Calgary.

There should be a trophy for winning the draft lottery.

He'll never be as good as Austen Matthews.

The Oilers name would have to somehow be involved. They won twice without finishing last....(frank)ers

It hasn't really been discussed, but it's safe to say the Canucks were disappointed with juolevi in the preseason. I know I expected him to be more visible, and I'm pretty sure someone even said he'd get a few regular season games before being sent back to junior.

Seegachev or Tkachuk look like the better picks at this time. #firebenning

There's no room for him. They already have some tough decisions to make about their bottom pairing; no point making them tougher just to give a kid a nine game cup of coffee.

Yeah really I think it's just that no one expected him to make a huge impact anyways and there was/is a lot of Dman drama going on that overshadowed him putting on the nucks jersey for the first time. Next year is when he'll be under the microscope.

Anyone else notice that they've named a hurricane after the Leafs # 1 pick?

I did notice that. it's appropriate as Matthews is going to blow through the competition on route to the Calder trophy, Art Ross, Norris and Vezina trophy in his rookie year
