From what I understand, it's not that he doesn't like Winnipeg, just that he wants to play a more prominent role on the right side. That is something he could definitely do in Edmonton. Not sure that Yak could even be considered a starting point in a Trouba trade though, would need so much more just to get the talks going.

We can afford that contract tho, Edm may not be able to. I think we'd survive with Henrique, Zacha, Josefson, Fiddler down the middle ... maybe.

We won't have any Kane/Toews, Malkin/Crosby to be blowing 20mil on. If we manage to keep Hall, he'll be do for a raise while Zajac is in his final year, but we should be fine anyway.
