I hear ya, but in one sentence he's cutting Barzal for "being lost" in the D zone.....and then in the next breath he's talking about him going to the dirty area and scoring. The fact is, Barzal is barely shaving and had a goal and an assist.....i'll take it. - kindlyrick
Yea they were at different points in the game i think he was just pointing out the reasons why or why he wont make the team and we know jack likes players to be defensivley responsible see pulock, ryan

Cappy will pick on every little thing Barzal or Pulock do and continue to let Bailey play with his head in the clouds. - ses111
Hahaha we're all so jaded. I truly believe we have premier talent in both Pulock and Barzal. This might be the deepest the isles have been since the cup years. I dont see how even Capuano can mess this up......we shall see. |

It's not a stretch to think he can mess things up. Look what him just being an assistant coach did to team USA. - ses111
hahahaha I didnt see him on the bench...weird. |

I know, im just saying......its one pre season game and in a few shifts, he had Barzal not making the team for a defensive lapse, and then all of a sudden he scores, and now he's back on the roster. Its like micro managing a roster from a beat writer. |

Cappy always has a problem with top prospects. He loves the scrubs like Bailey and Strait. |

Baileys days are numbered. The problem is they still have yet to define his role. The only way I see him staying is if they decide all of a sudden he's now a defensive specialist. He's basically been everything on this team except a goalie. |

That'll be his ultimate downfall. Live by the sword, die by the sword. Good thing is, he's on the hot seat now. You could say we the fans are in a good position, hopefully. If the team does good, that's good for us. If they stumble, which we don't want, Cappy gets axed. That's good for us. Obviously, I want them to win, but to do it in spite of Cappy. |

Start mentally preparing yourself for one of Gionta or Bernier making the team or both. Staple is just paving the way. |

Are you saying that Cappy has trained us to expect the unexpected? That is his coaching style. Confuse the opposition by looking like he doesn't know the game. |

Nelson cannot get away from Bailey. At least Kulemin is on another line. |

This team needs to get rid of this dead weight if they want to be serious contenders. |

Pretty underwhelming considering its against the Rangers. Had hoped for better. |
