DP was 26, an all-star and the U.S. goalie in Olympics.. no one expected him to be hurt for the next 6 years in a row..
Yashin was top 10 in NHL every year he was an Islander and was only bought out to entice that clown Smyth to re-up so he would be captain... didn't work. (Blake had 50 goals on Yashin's wing.. he was pretty good despite everyone hating him).

You had a guy on here over the weekend i saw chirping me (10am on a saturday), and goes on to say that im argumentative, and if multiple guys on here say one thing i should know that im wrong. Then goes on to say that he's not really scene said player, so he basis his opinions off what others say. Sorry but im not that guy.....i formulate my own opinions.

Look back at how many times you've argued page after page. 2)That's being argumentative. 3) Living in Arizona, it's a little difficult to get to the east coast and catch pre-season games. So I watch some videos, NHL network, and yes listen (read) the people on this page. Most of you have had the chance to see him live. I may get a replay the next that's been edited to fit within an hour time slot. There will undoubtedly be a transitional phase in which he needs to adjust to the smaller ice surface, but so far I think we're yet to have a real reason to not be super-excited about him.

He does play in on a lower-scoring, big ice surface and behind a very talented defense...but those numbers are insane, regardless of the circumstances.
