I've never been a "jersey guy", but I would lose my sh!t if that happened.

Nowadays you just tweet at the team and half the time they'll end up swapping it out for a current player.

My Dad got tickets the following year behind bench from a Business associate. I was banging on glass pointing at number.. whole bench was laughing .. he finally turned around and shook his head with a "sorry kid" .. think He threw me a puck.

That's not a bad consolation prize for a kid.

Bring him home now!!!!! NYSTROM!!

Bob Nystrom is around the organization all the time. I am sure Garth has "looked" at Eric but it is a head scratcher as to why he gave Bernier a PTO and not the son of Mr. Islander. Then again, most things he does seem to warrant criticism.

Eric Nystrom isn't even close to being an NHL caliber player anymore. Wasn't even worth considering, nobody should care who his father is. Not that I want to see Bernier anywhere near this team, but I'd take him over Nystrom 11 times out of 10.

I don't want either taking a spot on top 3 lines... and seeing as we have 4th locked up I don't REALLY want Nystrom, but that said I would much rather Nystrom than Bernier.

Disagree. He's only 33. Not a geezer. What about Eric Boulton? Talk about a charity case.

Nystrom is a terrible forward and was a fourth liner his entire career. Not sitting here saying Bernier was any sort of amazing player, but he was a passable 3rd line forward or a good 4th liner.

I know you don't want Nystrom, but this is purely a matter of who is father is here. If his last name was something else I don't think you, or anyone, would have batted an eye.

He's as bad as Boulton. I didn't say he was a dinosaur, just that he sucks. And he does.

At this point there's really no need for him......Boulton is signed, and most definitely getting ready to take the front office job they'll give him after the season.

I'll go out on a limb and say Nystrom wasn't released yet before Bernier was invited plus we have Boulton

I would never be so immature as to gaze upon the number 66 on any sweater in the modern-day NHL

If this was the 90's than you would be trying to lure an elementary-school-aged-me into a public meeting, so then the authorities would likely be contacted.

Perhaps......but, you'd probably lose credibility with said authorities once you started rattling off how they're not doing their job well. Siting cases with dates, and charts like Will Hunting.

You had a guy on here over the weekend i saw chirping me (10am on a saturday), and goes on to say that im argumentative, and if multiple guys on here say one thing i should know that im wrong. Then goes on to say that he's not really scene said player, so he basis his opinions off what others say. Sorry but im not that guy.....i formulate my own opinions.
