Anaheim isn't looking to trade Kesler, we love him and he's actually a bargain at under $7M to us. I think Fowler would be wanted in NJ, if nothing else because his two best buddies are there, Hall and Palmieri. It would be incredible if you'd also take Stoner or Bieksa, and we'd probably throw in a nice prospect for the inconvenience. Not sure what the Ducks would ask for in return, but I fear it would be Cammalleri. We obvious want a LW that can finish (doesn't everyone).

Not sure he's worth gamble with his concussion history. But if ANA is looking for a cap move I'd be thrilled if they swapped Despres for either Merrill/Moore plus either Josefson/Boucher/Blandisi. Otherwise I'd rather they wait to look for their #1 /#2 dman (Shattenkirk).

I wouldn't mind the Devils picking up despres, but after the Quincey signing I'd imagine the only trade Shero will make is for a more offensive minded defenseman otherwise we will have too many defensive minded guys in the line up

Canes are looking for a veteran defenseman to add so that they can protect Ryan Murphy in the Expansion Draft... could be a fit.

hhh if we're trying to build, then Cam for ..Cam would be a win I guess. But I still like what Cammalleri brings to the table, and having 2 legitimate LWs that can score in Hall and Cammalleri is something I want for the rest of his contract.

Trading a $4 mil cap hit for $5mil cap hit doesn't solve much for Anaheim.

Funny how Shero has acquired so many ex-Pens during his short tenure in NJ so far, because his first few years in Pittsburgh he did essentially the same thing, stocking up on as many ex- Preds as he could. Obviously prefers the devil he knows (no pun intended) lol

I was considering going to this game, but tickets are over $50 on stubhub! I was thinking 20.. but 50 for side balcony just isn't happening. too bad.

This is very very close to the starting lineup and I'm a fan of the combinations. I would like to see Severson on the top pairing and Merill out and i would expect Wood or Fiddler over Speers but who knows
