I dont understand why mike thinks Tronoto is so much better then sabres but his only thing he can come up with as to why is cap. Yeah we have couple big numbers on cap but all but matty ice will be off the books when jack and sam sign. Also Risto is not getting 7.5 million per. According to WGR the contract on table is 4.5 per year for 6 years and since he is practicing with the team it seems deal is pretty close. I think he will get around 5.5 for 6 years.

Also leafs have nathan horton and are over cap as of right now. Well at least according to cap central.

I really dont think cap for sabres or leafs will be a problem. They both have young players who next contract will be around 5-7.5 million which alot less then 10.5 million!! Which will put them in good shape to grab couple over paid free agents.
