i want to see the last couple where the lineup will be very close to what we see in game 1

Can't wait for it. How much does it change things that you can share the rookie pressure, an other teams' attention, among Marner, Nylander and Matthews? That is huge for all of them and the team.

Matthews will be with Nylander and Martin is my guess: Babcock likes to pair up skilled with grit.

I think Rielly will play the right side with Marincin still, even though I don't like it. We need another legit top 4 RHD.

i think beyond that you wont see much in the way of rookies until after the upcoming trade purge... guys like michalek and greening will be given prime opportunities to shine so Lou can move them for picks/prospects through the season.

He's been able to carry the puck anywhere he wants. And his passing

If they earn it sure. But I think Babcock and co are going to pick players based on how they play. They aren't going to give prospects not named Matthews and Nylander spots and they won't give Greening and Michalek spots. They will al have to earn it.

I can see him having a 20 goal type season and getting traded of healthy. But the chances of that are less than 50-50 at best. Too often injured to expect much imo

The whole Mathews is so much better then Eichel thing is getting old.. let Matthews play a few games in the league how about. Eichel is a great player, one of the best up and coming in the league.

Komarov is a lock for Kadri's (top) line who will take on all the tough matchups.

Matthews/Nylander will be more than enough skill on a line with Martin.
