Holland constantly been one of their best forwards in preseason. He's been great. - burn
hopefully he turns himself into a tradeable asset... don't see a long term position with the club.. but it looks like he'll get another audition infront of Babschlong (I like this one).. to show more consistency |

The Canucks should have rebuilt by then too. - Zezel
let the Canucks flop around with another three years of Sedin magic... slipping farther into mediocrity ... hopefully they don't win the lottery...
but I'm guessing less arrogance (why were they ever arrogant to begin with) going forward....

Its a perfect storm of bad hockey perpetuity..
They'll hang on to the sedins and milk that cow for all shes worth.. Then they'll reach the level of a bubble team in about 4-5 years with Horvat, Boedker, etc... Only to come crashing down once again. |

They could trade the sedins right now for at least a 1st and an okay prospects each. Then they would go from probably being the worst team in the NHL to the worst NHL team by a landslide. They would finish last and get Patrick or Lingren. Along with those draft picks and prospects they got with the sedins along with Virtanen Horvat and Jelolevi there is a solid foundation to a rebuild.
Too bad they won't do it |

What a BS post , Eichel is no where near Matthews ....and for recent proof I didnt see one Eichel highlight in the WCH , saw plenty of Matthews....
On another note....Jays are so screwed , Detroit has a joke of a pitcher against them tonight lol... the end is near
DET - J. Zimmermann (9-6, 4.88)
ATL - A. Blair (1-7, 8.02) |

Huh? Why are they so deserving of this? I think you can make your case for Joey Bats but what has the rest of the team done? Just cause they are losing dosnt mean you have to hate them.
They are likely going to make the wild card. I would bet $ that they would. Sit back and enjoy it |

It is pretty Leafy,
Then again, it isn't really. It has been a long time since the Leafs had a lineup that should put them in contention and then pissed it away. The bullpen has been abysmal but really it is the vaunted offense that has poop the bed for most of 5 weeks months.

and I sure hope they do.
Just got to make the wild card. A one game with Bailtimore is a perfect matchup. Thier best pitcher the Jays seem to light up. |

Yeah it's mostly their offense to blame. Their pitching carried them most of the year but they were playing above their talent level (imo anyway) so it had to even out eventually. |
