OK how about Mayfield playing with seven D and shifting him on the fourth line?

With a one way contract he may clear waivers but I think they have every intention of keeping him. Many teams now have the situation of a lot of young players on the bubble.

The bottom line is playing big minutes in bport is better for his development than sitting in the press box as the 7th guy. But, I really dont think he clears waivers. He's the kind of prospect that really has a lot of upside, so i can see a team snagging him. If the Jets are signing Brian Strait, you'd have to think someone has interest in Scott Mayfield.

Good question. I have no idea what Tampa would be looking for. Also, complicating things is that we'd have to shed salary somehow in order to sign Kucherov and stay within the cap.........although Grabo could be put on LTIR which would be of some help. It's all quite interesting.

George stalks me regularly... it takes all my resolve to not hurt myself.. like seriously he has serious problems and has said some awful stuff to me.. I don't want to say he isn't all there but something is clearly not wired correctly.
