Doughty came right out and said he hates Canucks, and as long as Kesler is on the Ducks there will be hate. He has the comfort though of knowing he scored his best goal ever against his old team

Draisaitl is a guy where you would have to give EDM the choice of any player on the team. I would do it.

Baby steps, you've gotta walk before you run! We're not in Anaheim, San Jose or LA's league, lets keep the hate with teams we'll be competing against for 8th place.

Draisaitl is a guy where you would have to give EDM the choice of any player on the team. I would do it.

It has to be the right deal or you might as well not do it. A plan has to be build through the middle, in my humble opinion, so you don't trade Horvat under ANY circumstances!

I would. Draisaitl answers the teams immediate and future needs, but so does Bo. So thats a fair debate. Alternatively we go back to the roulette wheel again this summer, because we won't be trading for one anytime soon.

I hope JB is true to his words about making tough decisions if there are players deserving to be here.

Obviously it's unlikely anyway, but that's what it takes to get that kind of player. Ryan Johansen for Seth Jones for example. If we eliminate a trade for a #1C, we draft and develop, like you say. It's just going to take awhile. Our 1C is 36.

There would be GMs who would take chance on Etem and Granlund…Spizza not so much. If we could move Sbisas contract for a 5th we would need to take that and run.
