I had my doubts Buch would stay but after hearing he added 15lb of muscle, has been working like crazy to learn English, as long as they like what they see, he isn't going back to the K.

I completely agree. I don't know who you move out of the top 9 is Pirri plays other than Buch... maybe Miller, but I do NOT want to see that.

I actually don't expect a trade. I think AV said it best that teams are going to need depth this year. We have good depth for the first time in a long time. Pirri will split time with Buch. I personally though would love to see Pirri play 4th line minutes and PP. If Step and Zib can play PK centers then you don't need a defensive 4th line center - which Pirri apparently can play. If you can have grabner and FAst on the 4th line that is not bad.

Yeah, he would be worth a bunch. Same with Miller I would think. Would hate to see either one of those guys go, but if it helps the team, oh well.

I just think we need to give it more then one preseason game. Pirri hasn't been able to stick with a franchise for a reason over his career. Let's not go trading Zucc or Miller cause now Pirri is gonna fill their shoes.

Pirri's skill set is not that of a 4th liner. Neither is Buch or Vesey. Its a numbers game

You have to admit, he is an enticing piece.

In all seriousness though, its not about replacing someone because of a pre-season game. Its if these guys can all fit in the top 9 someone is probably going. Buch isn't going back to the K. I'm with Jimbo where I think Vesey is going to be really good. Pirri has shown he can score goals and AV has seen enough to say he isn't a 4th liner. And how many times does AV really praise players?

My point is how do we know Pirri is gonna stick? Cause of one good preseason game? This guy couldn't last on the Panthers or Ducks last year.
