As long as 'they' can continue to possess the puck, drive offense and thus negate defense, the small, quick guys can be extremely effective.
Stretcher has looked good.
Even if he keeps it up, i still don't see him beating out the horde though

Thank you - I can't stand that fool - absolutely pointless player/salary on our roster - the days of the enforcer are over, if you can even call him that.
Stetcher looks good in both ends, Skille is quick for 215lbs, Labate and Hutton got some wheels too. Nice to see Guddy banging on Lucic (who just doesn't look right in that Oilers jersey)
Didn't realize Juolevi was even playing until late in the second and Rodin was quiet too. I will admit that Gaunce looked a hell of a lot better than what I saw from him last year - wouldn't mind getting rid of Burrows to make room for him but that may happen a la Higgens/organically

Yes I see a player the canucks have needed for a long time in stetcher.
Thing with him is he has good possession skills, is a playmaker who also gets pucks on nets and joins rushes. It's one thing to b offensive D and another to b that quaterback type, which I think he can do. His quickness and smarts is what gets around his size.
