Take a close look at the Vancouver roster... when Cole Cassels is a prominent prospect and you're pro team licks balls then you have issues.
- LittleRickyV2

You don't become the joke of the league in 1 or 2 years. It takes close to a decade of embarrassment and failure.

Reinhart wasn't bad.

The first penalty he took was what made him look bad. Other than that, he put in a solid effort.

- EdmHockeyMan

He got turned around a number of times, looked slow as (frank), and he blew defensive coverage a number of times. He got destroyed possession wise (34% of shot attempts) and cnsidering he was playing secondary opposition against a LARGELY AHL quality forward roster, that's a horrible sign. It's one game, but he was horrid. One final doesn't justify his otherwise bad play.

Nah, even the most ardent of Larsson lovers has no idea why the (frank) Chiarelli traded for Reinhart.

I didn't mind his speed (he's faster than Maroon) so much as his constant giveaways along the offensive zone boards in the first two periods. However, both that and his reaction speed can be a byproduct of playing his first game in a new system- especially one so different from LAs.

Coach Todd seems mighty high on this Caggiula kid. Now I'm not advocating this in any way but should he make the team

Lucic-McDavid-Draisaitl
Pouliot-Nuge-Eberle
Maroon-Caggiula-Versteeg/Yak/Kassian
Hendricks-Letestu-Versteeg/Yak/Kassian

I can see this being more likely in that situation:

Pouliot- McDavid- Eberle
Lucic- Nugent- Draisaitl
Maroon- Caggiula- Versteeg
Hendricks- Letestu- Kassian

I'm curious to see Lucic play with Draisaitl. Might be an interesting combo.

I at least gave Yak a pity mention.
Pouliot and McDavid would be interesting. poop ton of speed.

Trade him like they should have two years ago. It is just sad that this organisation has no idea how to manage its assets.

With the impacts Caggiula and Versteeg have made so far, he's gotta start showing better as well or he simply won't have a spot on this team. As he can only play one role (scoring line), he has to be quantifiably better than those fighting for those same spots. So far, he's only had one game where he was less-than-impressive (albeit on the bad side of the split squad). My line-up is simply reflecting what I've seen so far.

Exactly if you aren't going to use Yak or give him time to perform move on. It is so weird to see a team just drive an assets value into the ground like they are with Yak.

I feel like a lot of people feel that Yakupov is owed a position...
