Looks good, I would maybe looks at having the Leaf logo show solid in the middle and fade at the edges where the players are located. Means Kamorov (dude in the middle)? in the center will need to be moved or left off.
Gardiner is the perfect example of why going on just stats is a terrible way to judge a player.
If he controls the puck, generates more scoring chances and shots when he's on the ice and generally plays adequate defense ( never first to the puck in the corner despite his skating ability) it is a huge bonus for the Leafs. And he is an asset. For sure.
But when the final score of that same game is 2-1 for the opposition and he threw a pizza up the middle of the ice for a goal against, how can the stats tell you what you needed to know alone? That's just another giveaway. His ONE a game. Doesn't look terrible on the stat line, but they lost.
I think he's a decent player, but to suggest someone with his decision making and physical presence is elite based on just stats? I think that's troubling. - Mrbs71
nobody just uses stats... and if they are you can safely ignore those people.
But everybody uses stats...whether you want to admit it or not you do it.. nobody watches every game and every player. You check the box scores and game logs and analyze the data form opinions based on it...but there is better data now to use..its up to you if you want to ignore it.

Yeah, it still amazes me what a difference between the previous management groups and this one. Hunter running the draft has been impressive so far - astonishing to get talent in the later rounds that actually appear to possibly make the NHL one day. Previous groups couldn't even get that right in rounds 1 and 2.
