Saad and Jones were playing Monday night for Columbus. I couldn't believe why our guys can't play until Saturday at the earliest. - Mononoke
So last year there was a big to do about the "first NHL game in Allentown" and they made a point to have guys like Giroux in the lineup. The WCOH and the roster from last night make me wonder who is actually going to be there for tonight |

Let's all be real though: Cinderella's Night Songs was undoubtedly the apex of music. - jmatchett383
As a little hockeylover in the '80's I enjoyed Breaking the Law by Judas Priest. That was about it for my head banger days. |

Konecny, Schenn, Raffl is a line. I would assume the d who didn't play last night....Manning, Morin, Hagg, Alt, maybe AMac or someone who didn't play Monday. NAK, Fazleev probably and AHL guys. Probably splitting Stolie/Lyon. |

All this talk of great bands has got me thinking:
I was not raised on pop. I was raised on classic rock, and I didn't start finding my own music until the earl 90s. So I was never really into Prince. I just didn't know his music.
Of course, the day after he died, all of the tributes started coming out, and one thing people talked about was what an amazing guitarist he was, possibly one of the best in the world.
So, for the first 30+ years of my life, why did no one ever include him in their top xx guitarists of all time list? After knowing this, I would have liked to have seen him. Sure, I still don't think he has more than maybe 8-10 really good songs, but if he's that great, I think he should have been recognized more often in recent years. Or maybe people just went a bit too far in their praise the day after it happened. |

Prince was definitely a talented musician. He played almost all the instruments on his first few albums. I don't think they went too far overboard in the days after his death. There are also a lot of songs you may know that were written by him but recorded by others. |

Prince was a fantastic guitarist, and just an amazing musician and songwriter. He actually played dozens of instruments. |

No missing mike quoted my post as what he was responding to, but didn't address me at all was what I was stating. Not a big deal, but somewhat unusual. - aantny88

You don't want to see Sam Morin decapitate a group of Devils and bring about the downfall of Christianity tonight? |

What rock have I been living under? I vaguely remember hearing the name but never paid attention to them. I heard Empire for the first time ever the other day. Wow! - Scoob
So, you've finally heard the Revolution Calling? Welcome aboard. Just in time to enjoy their renaissance with a new singer who's not gone bonkers in the head. |
