No missing mike quoted my post as what he was responding to, but didn't address me at all was what I was stating. Not a big deal, but somewhat unusual. - aantny88
I know, he probably got confused as to which post it was since they were similar.
The real issue is that I haven't seen one spin-o-rama of 100+mph one-timer goal from Provorov yet. |

Listening to the contrasting "Super Bowl champions" to "We're gonna lose every game for the rest of the year" the day after the Eagles win or lose is always interesting for 10-15 minutes at a time.
I know I'm in the minority, but as "edgy" as he was, I always liked that Josh Innes would just call people on their poop. - jmatchett383
Yep, Innes was the best show on WIP and got run out of town for actually being realistic in his analysis. |

Realistic yes...but ultra condescending, combative, insulting and degrading. Not going to do yourself any favors putting native Philadelphians on blast! |

I agree about who he was as a host. However, what I liked about his show is he could mix in some funny bits to break up the routine of what what can make sports radio so boring and repetitive.
His ratings were in the tank though. He wasn't going to last much longer. I just can't believe he was losing to such a dirtbag in Missenelli. |

Oh, he was a total bumhole who thought he was better than everyone. At the same time, he was realistic with his sports take, and always let people call in and have at him if they wanted to. He'd let them say their piece, and then thank them for the call and move on. He did have a tendency to flip out over small stuff, though. |

He was actually kicking Missenelli's ass for a while. In fact, I loved it when Missenelli had his brother call up Innes and tell him he wanted to fight him. I do think that Eskin's kid tried to sabotage his show. He reeled it in quite a bit and it kind of killed the show. |

Can't stand Missanelli. Doesn't know a damn thing about hockey and dismisses every opinion that doesn't line up with his own. Love it when Myrtetus corrects him about the Flyers, which happens frequently! |

Any idea who is playing for you guys tonight? I will take educated guesses at this point. Thanks! |

Gary Innes? Always wondered what happened to him after he hung his goalie pads up.

At one point last year, him and Spike Eskin were arguing about driving and the correct approach to merging traffic. Talk about losing your poop over nothing! |

Well probably not provorov, he played 50 minutes over back to backs the last 2 nights.
Best guess: Morin, Hagg, Manning, Konecny, Leier; Lyons or Stolarz or both will handle the goalie duties. None of those guys played yesterday.

I'm thinking maybe some of Couturier, Voracek, Gostisbehere and Neuvirth might sneak into the lineup tonight |

For those of you who are expecting to see dynamic play like you get from Ghost (rerovy) stop now. You are not gonna see it. However, what you might see is the same sort of stuff you get from Drew Doughty. He isnt out there spinning circles, dipsy-doodling, and slammin home rockets from the point, but he absolutely makes the right play 95% of the time. He is dominant in all three zones, and makes his team that much better. Provy might have a rush from time to time where you go "Whoa, this kid is special", but its the mundane dirty stuff that makes him so special. Simple plays like moving the puck up ice calm and collectively when another guy would be forced into a turnover. Or like last night, chipping the puck high off the glass and spinning out of a big hit attempt and getting up out of the zone before the checker. He is machine like, in the best way possible. - jak521
I've been thinking of Provorov as a Russian Suter (or Ruter, if you prefer) for about 18 months now. |

They've had 4 days back in the facility, well at least Jake has. How long could they require them to be out? |

Last night, they were saying their first chance would be Saturday. |
