I think he was preoccupied with his hip injury last year, probably doped up and not quite with it.

It will be interesting if he has adjusted his coaching style this season.

It was a bit surprising what he said about Larsen. WD went from talking him up before the game to sounding very disappointed after.

Damn exhibition games. I want to see him with the Sedins or a more structured lineup. It has to be a bit scrambly and not knowing the tendencies of players around you can't help. I guess as WD stated, he still has to show what he can do offensively.

Tonight we will see a game that shouldn't be televised. I'm expecting a big loss. (actually our defense doesn't look too bad, I just don't see us generating much offense while seeing the Oilers top line)

I wondered before camp started how much preferential treatment Larsen would get from WD. Larsen isnt a rookie and played with Willie in Dallas, so I figured he would be getting more of a pass, but its nice that WD is acting tougher

I struggled not making fun of those names too, because I remember the age of some of our posters and they were more common in their day..
