If you substitute Trouba for Lindholm would the 1st be easier to give up?

The Leafs first round pick should be enough to get 95 per cent of players in the NHL.
It could be a 1st overall.

I believe Trouba would be a nice addition to TML. But any of the forward prospects the Leafs have would not be of interest to the Peg, with the plethora of young talent they have up front.

They want a like for like player to Trouba which the Leafs only have Rielly. And I think the WCH just proved that Rielly is ahead of Trouba already in their careers so that would be a non starter for the Leafs. I can't imagine the Leafs trading the guy who lead NA in ice time and played in all situtions for the 7th D on NA. Especially with the great deal he's on. So other than Rielly, who would the Leafs have that would interest Winnipeg?

I heard Bob Mac say they aren't interested in any forwards or players who are unproven. But also have to be in the 22-23 age range who can grow with their young group. Seems like the Leafs aren't a fit.

It is fun when a young promising player demands a trade though, like Drouin it gets people talking.

OK.... One of the two of us is completed (frank)ed in the head then.

Because there is no way in hell I would trade Nylander for Trouba, given his trade and salary demands!

plain and simple

- Unholy-Goalie

The Hamilton trade to Calgary is an example of asking for a lot of $$$ but signed for less with the new team.

They also need guys that they don't have to protect at the expansion draft, a 22-23 year old won't do it.

what about watching the games instead of just using stats
- senstroll

No no don't watch.....let's just look at some new fangled #'s and take them as exact player evaluators.

What if you factor in their defense partner, or in Rielly's case lack there off
