I've got not issues paying taxes.

Does it suck when the money paid is squandered? Yes.

But at the same time, I'm pretty happy with having paved roads, quality education, professional firefighters and police officers, and not going into debt every time I need a perscription.

trivial details.. you don't need roads if you fly around in a helicopter, a quality education can be bought by going to prep-school (and taking an additional year or two to mature), having "daddy" buy you a college degree from a name brand school, don't need firefighters if you live in a glass and concrete building and why bother with cops when you have personal security.

problem is to many individuals in the US think this is the American dream - and they think they can actually get this....

they just need Amurka to be great again...

we're all beat up about the goaltending... and its been a question mark since Cujo and Belfour....

but unlike Bernier, Andersen while not a 60 game a year guy has at least a couple of seasons of decent results...

and lets face it... if he can stop the first shot of the game 8 out of 9 games.. that will be a massive improvement.

i always liked andersen... been saying i wanted the leafs to get him for well over a year... then they did... and it was LouLams who went and got him.

and lets face it... that HoF GM has an excellent track record when it comes to goaltender evaluation.

Glad someone else thinks Nielsen looks good... I'm hoping HOPING that he sneaks onto the roster... so far, and I know its just preseason, he's looked mobile, intelligent and he seems to come by his points honestly, the passes and shots have been good. He doesn't seem to be the type of player that excels in junior just because he's taller/stronger. When interviewed he has confidence.

Regarding Marner.... Doug Gilmour said "he's too good for our league" referring to the O

if the league continues to get quicker... then the Rangers D will have increasing problems... 'cause you'll have Girardi and Staal for a majority of that 6 years... and they aren't getting any quicker.
