Thanks, I guees tha means Grenier/Zalewski could be added to the waiver "sneak" list.
Most those guys have played at least one season pro but many have a few seasons under their belts. I think they should do fine considering what SJ is sending. I don't know where I saw it right now but they don't have much talent going to be there tonight either.

The question for me is whether he is willing and able to pay the price to score in the NHL. If he attempts to play on the perimeter in the preseason he won't last long. - CanuckDon
I agree, he doesn't need to do it on every play but at the very least show he is willing. Many of his goals in the SEL came in tight to the net but obviously its a much different league. |

True. I guess the Sharks have/had guys playing for Team Canada and in the WCoH. Maybe it is good that it isn't televised.
I saw this posted in the comments on CA,
"so translating that into expectations this year, i'd say either the canucks are a 92+ point team coached by wd, or travis green is the coach at year end."
I think with so much "competition" at camp, Loui signing here, there is even more pressure on WD to make the playoffs. Although, I think we still need to add more scoring. so many question marks. |

you know there are American Nux fans?? many if not most Canadians have American relatives and friends and you feel it's okay to just insult all those people. you think 350mill people are all "dumb"?? that's pretty judgemental.
I don't believe Canadians are in any position to assert a smug attitude and arrogantly look down their noses at Americans. - kaptaan

Good post - Makita
The fact that numerous canadians would agree that we shouldn't look down on the americans for whatever reason, regardless of circumstance, shows how we are different from them. |

What if Pedan Subban outplay Tryamkin Larsen in the preseason game?
Most likely won't play a part into who makes the team, I think the only question mark going into camp is whether Pedan or Biega stays and whether a PTO or JV stays. Barring any injures that is.
I do wonder if the Canucks "sneak" any players through waivers after tonight's game a la Markstrom last year.
Pedan is really the only one who really qualifies but Chaput and Megna could also be sent down early if they were worried about them as they are also eligible. - belcherbd

Americans by and large are pretty decent people. I've worked in the states many years and met all kinds of people and I think you are just playing into a stereotype.
Seems that many Canadians/ Aussies/ maybe Kiwis have this desire to denigrate Americans and the USA, and it is very unbecoming and more often than not, rude. |

Yeah, I think most peoples problem with americans is the national mindset of arrogance and superiority. I'm not saying that of all americans, in all likelyhood that mentality exists due to a loud minority of people. But perception is everything. |

Game day!
Here's my preview of tonight's tilt against the Sharks.
Not much experience on the SJ side either, so I hope players like Gaunce and Subban can take advantage of their opportunities. Also eager to see what Philip Larsen can bring...
