You may consider us overrating him, but mentioning "no upside" or "Adam mcquaid" is prof of you vastly underrating the player he is and can be. Maybe it just simply comes down to lack of knowledge cause he plays out west, which I suspect is exactly the scenario. No insult intended

Meh. I don’t know what marner will turn out to be; but sure, I do have higher hopes than that.

The leafs aren’t competing for the playoffs next year and have time to let their prospects develop and see what they actually have in their prospects.

The oilers shouldn’t be as patient. I watched enough oilers games last year to know nurse has a long way to go; he’s not going to help the team get into the playoffs next year.

Marners small, but pretty unreal talent. Tough to tell how it translates into the show. I'd guess he's be gonna be a pretty great winger.


Nurse has some developing to do no doubt. But I think if he gets sheltered and put in the position he should be, (and by all accounts he will be this year - 3rd pair with Davidson) I think he could take leaps and bounds relatively quickly.

Huge crime rate, one of the highest traffic ticketed cities in Canada (radar on every street corner), and a large number of the population on welfare. Last mayor was all about promoting Aspers Agenda and this new boy is competing with Trudeau for selfies.
I like the sorrounding areas in Gimli, birds hill and Whiteshell. This city is dirty, the roads are absolute trash and we are wasting money on fluff museums and politically correct committees.

I've lived in a few other Canadian cities ( Toronto, Vancouver, Calgary ) and I can tell you they all have pros and cons. My point is simple, this is Canada, your free to go anywhere, if you dont like it here, move. I like it here. The crime rate is way over hyped, there is no traffic relative speaking to other cities, have you ever payed to park a car in dowtown Calgary? Housing prices or the cost to have 10 acres 30 min outside the city is the best in the country, cottage life, and i could care less who the mayor is or how many selfies he takes

AZ is stacked with forward prospects. Andrew Copp is pretty much useless to them. OEL>>>Trouba by a significant margin. OEL is locked up for at least a few more years if i remember correctly at a pretty good cap hit.
