Trouba makes little sense for the Sabres, he's a RHD and we already have Risto and Bogo, and Trouba doesn't want to be a bottom pairing that's one of the reasons why he wants out of Winnipeg. He also wants a ton of money and we have Risto to sign still. Plus what do we have to offer Winnipeg? They will want a decent bottom pairing LHD to replace Trouba, and they will also want something of value to replace his value. I don't think they want Ennis or Girgensons, and Kane is an obvious NO! They have a ton of prospects and don't need draft picks anymore, so really they'll probably ask for Guhle and Reinhart, and that's a definite no.

He has that group of players/coaches hes loves trouba, PK, Karlsson, Hank etc...
And the group on players he hates (kris russell, Girardi etc..) and he just beats them into the ground...kind of annoying after a while

He's a bit too much into analytics at this point. There's a point to the stats, but they aren't the be all/end all either.

HAhahah exactly. also risto playing against the other teams top line and trouba was getting third line matchups. NOT saying anything against trouba but at this time it's crazy to say youd take trouba over risto anyday

For sure, hence the love for PK and Karlsson. I almost feel that if a player doesnt have a solid corsi there's almost no way they can be a good player in his opinion

Trouba played 22 min a night. He was there 2nd or 3rd D man on any given night.

The focus should be on getting Risto signed for a good number, anything 6 or more is joke. 4-5 a year seems fair.
