Agreed on most of it.
but even if Davidson has a season akin to this past one and not far better, a young player that plays his style and can move up and down the lineup when needed is exactly the type of guy a probable Lower skilled expansion team would be looking for.
But yes, pouliot would also be desirable

But again, i don't hesitate much to leave him unprotected if we're acquiring JT

Getting Trouba now is more than just exposing Davidson though. It also means protecting 4 D and exposing more forwards too. Considering the $ that Trouba is going to want to be paid as well as the high cost to trade for him, it's hard to believe that acquiring him now wouldn't damage the team a little in the long run.

I think the wussycat suits you guys rather well.

Needed something to take attention away from how good looking Larsson is. Something to give the kids to look at while their moms seats are getting damp.

I love what Davidson did for us last year

Other than obvious Connor- he may have been the nicest surprise from last year.

The guy is A solid hardworking nhl'er, and God to uve him this year in an easier spot. I think he can be invaluable.
but I doubt he'll ever be counted for more than injury spot duty in the top 4 on a quality team.

Certainly hope we can find a way to protect him, but if the alternative was acquiring trouba- I don't hesitate much to risk that.
Amd if we could get trouba at 5.5- even 6 medium term, it's worth it imo.

Plus I'd assume some salary is going the other way to soften the blow. Tough decisions are gonna happen regardless, rather it be tough decisions on a team that's actually competing for the playoffs

So I am not sure what it is called. I think it should be called Pat cause really I am not sure what it is.

Which bathroom will Pat use? This opens a whole can of worms.

As far as Harvey goes his legacy speaks for himself.

I just hope all that dampness doesn't affect the ice.
