We're pretty loaded up front. You think the Peg would be interested in a forward? Or is this gonna have to be a D for D trade? |

I cheer for Canada but I can't bring myself to cheer when Crosby scores . - way out west
Can't stand that crybaby female dog. Never want him on the Rangers. |

I'm thinking they would go after D, but like Drouin they don't have to do a damn thing. |

I think it would take Zuccarello and Skjei |

I am not weighing on this just yet. Don't believe they move Trouba, and if so, return would need to be huge, meaning players NY doesn't want to deal. I like Trouba a lot, though thought he regressed a bit last year. But age and talent will make him highly sought after. |

the one thing I will say is the Rangers seem to be planning on forcing Skjei over to the right side. So, IMO, it wouldn't be the worse thing in the world to make Skjei part of a package to acquire Trouba, considering Trouba doesn't have to be forced to go over to his natural side.
Then the Rangers have an opening on the left side for Ryan Graves when he is ready |

If the Rangers could get Trouba they should try. Even if it ment losing Skjei. I like Skjei bu the Rangers need for a RHS d-man is apparent. Getting Trouba would allow the Rangers the flexibility to buyout Girardi after next year if he's in fact on the decline. Now I would say the Rangers can't offer guys like Miller or Zucc. I wwould say the Rangers getting Vesey allows them to offer Buch+++. |

He out played Skjei last year at Hartford. Also has a booming shot from the point. Needs to be more physical, but that can be learned. |

so, would you trade Zuccarello and Skjei and Ottawa's 2nd round pick next year for Trouba? |

I personally wouldn't entertain moving Skjei for Trouba... |

No. See me first post. Zucc is a unique player because of his talent and how much better the rest of group plays when he's in the line up. See 2014-15 as you'd like to point out. |

missed that post
I don't see us getting Trouba without including a player that hurts, but I really doubt the Rangers would trade Zucc anyway |

Zucc is a deal breaker for any player that isn't a current all star. He's important to the team, on and off the ice. |

I think everyone agrees that they need to trade a forward, unless it's Kreider I don't see another match |

If it's true what TSN is saying that his request of a trade dates back to May it's obvious the Jets are in no hurry to move him . I think it may take a too much to get him and I'm not sure at this time the Rangers are in position to do that . Gorton is just starting to put the Rangers prospect pool back together don't think they can make a trade at this time |

I pretty much agree, the only thing I would say is that Trouba probably is the one player that fulfills the biggest need in the organization |

He will probably never be worth more though. Not only leading Rangers in points last season, but now also leading Team Europe in points before today's semifinal...
I would probably weep like a little girl if it happens |
