I think this year will change your tune on the avs, flames, oilers, and Canucks
- Redmile247

The Flames will always suck. You have no depth and terrible goaltending. You also have high unemployment, tanking real estate and businesses closing down on every street corner

Whats interesting is Tryamkin will be the biggest player in the NHL this season.

He is now bigger than Dustin Byfuglien

Classic,

Was there anyone among the forwards that always looked like a threat to score or stood out?

I'm not a huge fan of that strategy.
I think having a body in front of the net that can tip and/or jump out of the way is more effective than a giant. After 6'2 or so, most goalies aren't seeing over you when they're hunched over anyways.

A 6'2 body is easier to move

Rodin was really pedestrian
There wasn't much offense.

Carcone looked really good. with a few chances.

Jack Skille is the the only guy that will probably get a contract out of the PTO's

Pretty much the only regulars were etem, granlund that were in the game.

Zalewski was also one of the best forwards

I'm not sure how much stock to put into the scrimmage. I watched the live feed for a few minutes and got the impression guys were trying to be defensively responsible more so than push the play.

Hoping we see more urgency in the exhibition games from bubble guys like Grenier.

I think our offensive upgrade this year is Eriksson and another year of experience for Bo and Sven.

Next year will be the addition of Boeser.

I still think a trade is coming this year as soon as we see how we are on D.

It wasn't a scrimmage to Pedan and Zalewski

Both of them almost got into with each other, and they both got into it with other players numerous times.
