But Reinhart isn't a "center" with us
There's other guys they could've put there
Why's shift him around unless they wanna see him there for some reason?
Maybe that's in our future plans?
Maybe not
Just curious to see him there

And I know what u meant about Girgs
But with 2 of our top forwards not in camp yet,
The top line on team white is still basically forwards 7-9
I don't consider it a big deal at all
Foligno-Girgensons-Gionta could very well be our 3rd or 4th line this year
Not like He was centering Ennis & Okposo like Larsson was
Maybe Larsson getting his shot?

- jdfitz77

He started that way season before last on his 9 game tryout, and was drafted for that reason. We didn't have ROR yet, and Eichel wasn't a guarantee. But then last year was put with Jack because of the massive need for someone to play the right side. And didn't McGinn start the season with Jack? with Reinhart at 3C? I honestly can't remember.

Yeah, I know all that
But if the plan is to keep him on the wing,
Why bother w him at center at all right now?
Seems to me there's gotta be some kind of reason behind it
Idk... Maybe I'm reading too much into it
But it would be dumb to just stick him there for no reason other than we needed to fill a slot

I'm in favor of the "3 scoring line" setup, so I hope this means something
Also along those lines...
Playing Larsson with some talent
If he can succeed at center w Enis & Okposo, then maybe that could be one of the scoring lines & we keep Reinhart on the wing

I know it's just camp...
But it looks to me like they're exploring some different options to see what could work
It'll be interesting to see how the lines get shifted once Eichel & eventually O'Reilly get back

Yeah, I'm ok with that too

What do I think about the Kucherov offersheet rumors still popping up?
Up to 7.5mil we would have to give up a 1st, 2nd, 3rd
I'd do that in a heartbeat
But I'd think Tampa has to match that, even if it forces them to dump a guy like Bishop for much less than they'd normally get

Would u do more than that to try & get Tampa to let him go?
Up to 9.4mil & we'd give up two 1sts, 2nd, 3rd
I'd be alright doing that too
Although it could cause us some Cap issues of our own in a few years

Never been a Rex fan
I think he's gone after this year
Firing Roman pretty much guaranteed we wouldn't dump him mid season
We look bad all over though
Gonna be a rough season

2 of the 3 teams ek mentioned have no cap, habs and blues

once we sign risto, we have no cap

with okposo and reinhart at rw, there is no need for him, unless we trade reinhart for a d man

I love kuch, think the panthers are the perfect place for him

I think JAX & WASH will both finish better than us this year
Unless things change, looks to me like we're gonna avenue a top5 pick

We could seriously lose next week to the Pats witha WR playing QB for them

3 scoring line theory, Reinhart back to center
Trading Gorges or Franson could give us the room we need
Foligno could be moved also if needed
The Cap in the future is a little more worrisome to me

I'm drooling about what our top9 could look like next year w Kucherov added if we could figure how to make it all work

And Garapolo is most likely out still
Looks like they're gonna bring in a career stub like TJ Yates
But can he (or whoever) be better than a guy like Edelman who already knows the offense front to back?

I just don't wanna see us embarrassed

Then don't watch ! Been watching these fools lose my whole life (50 years). For the last couple of seasons, I've DVR'd the games while going out and actually doing something. I'll come home and watch a play, the whistle goes, and I fast forward to the next play. This way, you don't get that awful feeling of wasting 4 hours of your life watching an at-best mediocre team screw up another game. It's way less frustrating watching the games this way. However, this season, I've done something a little different. DVR the game, watch it later, but fast-forward the ENTIRE game, and only rewind to watch a play IF something good happens (sack, fumble, INT, TD). Give it a shot. You'll feel better than just about everybody else in WNY come Monday mornings.

Nilsson was sharp in goal yesterday and Lehner wasn't.

Risto will be a holdout.

Falk could be the 7th D man.

Bylsma says there will be open spots at forward and D.

Will Evander Kane get booed in the home opener?

All I got.

I stopped buying season tickets years ago, then I stopped going to any games at all a few years back. Now, I won't even spend even a single buck of my money on this team in any way. I was still watching the games because they are on TV and I figured, "Hey, it ain't costing me anything. But lately I don't even do that because it's costing me time off my life and my weekend. I've never seen a team as chitty as the Bills have been for this long (maybe Cleveland) I just can't let these losers suck the life out of me anymore. Half of this organization is either hurt or suspended by week 1 every season. Call me a fair weather fan all you want, but 17 seasons of no playoffs, and no hope of improvement on the horizon, is enough for anyone to put up with.

Interesting thought on Kane. While his actions are deplorable, I'd prefer the legal system deal with it like any other citizen. Let the fans not drive a wedge in the team, nor between the fan base and the team. This is where leadership in the locker room is critical...get that boy to take on a "lower profile".

Offersheeting Kuch was something I mentioned back in July. But they better have Risto locked up before doing so...else be prepared to lose him the same way.
I would only go up to the $7.25 level or whatever the highest was before entering that next stage of compensatory draft picks. He would look awesome here on the right and maybe allow Reino to slide to the left side with Jack this season...then let Nylander takeover that spot and Reino becomes your 3rd C -- he proved in the WJCu20 that he could take on that shut down/score ing center role beautifully.
Having Eichel, ROR and Reino as your 1-3 C's would be quite awesome and does allow the Sabres to trade Ennis, Girgs, and others while maintains a terrific top 9.
Now they need to quickly kill off Moulson and Franson to gain the cap space after Risto signs
