You're welcome.

Scotland is on my golf bucket list. St. Andrews is at the top of list, followed by KingsBarns and then Troon. I hope to get over to Ayrshire too. Been thinking about it for a long time. And a stop over to Ireland as well.

So I went on a job interview about a month ago for a financial services company in Chicago. They made a nice offer and I accepted it. I start my training there next week but won't be moving, staying here and working out of my home office.

One of the partners has a son who was actually drafted by the Black Hawks last year. Do I make the Hawks my second team to root for? Not a bad team to actually follow.

Nope, Rochester Americans.....

That would be cool.

When I retire we are heading west.

If you are headed west, you should head "northwest" to British Columbia. Great golf courses, great beer and great wine. Plus you can watch all Sabres game on NHL.com

Good articles on Reinhart and Moulson in the Buffalo News. Reinhart is the guy I am most excited about this year. I even secured a #23 jersey. I don't see him scoring more than 25 goals but I think he'll pick up somewhere around 35 assists.

Moulson I have dumped on like everyone else but he it seems like he worked out like a demon this summer and has a huge chip on his shoulder. It would be a great rebound year for him to get up to the 3rd line and chip in between 15 - 20 goals. He then becomes a stronger candidate for Vegas to take in the draft or to trade to a contender.

This is true. Our winters are too cold. That's why so many Canadian snowbirds who head to Florida (from Ontario and Quebec) and California/Arizona (from B.C./Alberta). I am in my 50's as well and I am getting soft. I like to escape down south every winter.

I have said for months, if there was ever a sabre team to roll 3 lines, this is that team

nylander, eichel, kuch is a scary second line

- homiedclown

Eichel, Kucherov & me would be a scary line!
Hahaha

Unless we can pull something off (like getting Kucherov),
We'll prob have to wait till next year to roll 3 lines

I like that idea a lot though

Offersheeting Kuch was something I mentioned back in July. But they better have Risto locked up before doing so...else be prepared to lose him the same way.
I would only go up to the $7.25 level or whatever the highest was before entering that next stage of compensatory draft picks. He would look awesome here on the right and maybe allow Reino to slide to the left side with Jack this season...then let Nylander takeover that spot and Reino becomes your 3rd C -- he proved in the WJCu20 that he could take on that shut down/score ing center role beautifully.
Having Eichel, ROR and Reino as your 1-3 C's would be quite awesome and does allow the Sabres to trade Ennis, Girgs, and others while maintains a terrific top 9.
Now they need to quickly kill off Moulson and Franson to gain the cap space after Risto signs

- IonSabres

Yeah... I agree with just about all of that

If we can offersheet Kucherov- I'd be ok if we have to give up two 1sts, 2nd & 3rd to get them to not match... 8mil? 8.5?

I know Kucherov is a long shot at best...
But damn our top9 would look amazing next year with Bailey & Nylander added too!
