11/8 will be no fun. - ses111
Not at all. I don't like Trump but I would rather be hit in the face with a shovel than vote for Hillary. I'm probably going to abstain for the first time since I was old enough to vote. |

I agree. Kasich would have beaten Hillary and she was afraid of going up against him. The guy is not exciting, but very qualified. |

Absolutely correct, Casey might see a lot more ice with that new deal. - Isles_since_6

He's a big part of replacing 51. Not defensively but he needs to get back to 50pts - Isles_since_6
His first season he was probably our best defensive fwd. Yep, he was better than Frans. He was a +27 or 37 can't remember?
Edit; +23 while being bounced all over the line up including spending some time on the 4th line when Cizikas got injured. |

How soon people forget. Kid was amazing on both sides of the puck. If he just returns to his first seasons form it'd help this team immensely. - Cptmjl
He was very good on both sides Cpt agreed, however he will be playing center if he earns the spot in camp and it's gonna be interesting to se how he does defensively at the center pivot as most of his time in the last two years he's been on the wing.
Talk is he came to camp in great shape so I have a feeling he's determined to prove himself capable this year. Fingers crossed we need him too. |

He centered the 4th line in that stint with them and sometimes centered the kid line. Nelson was the primary center of course but he had his looks. A lot of his success will depend on who his wings are and how Capuano uses him. I'm pretty confident he'll bounce if he's put into the right situation.

He was very good defensively as well. I really like Strome's chances of bouncing back. |

Cpt, Ses, if we are going to be successful Strome definitely needs to have a bounce back year which again I think he will. |

No way, our guy isn't afraid to elbow a chick in the tits to make a point - Isles_since_6
I forgot about that.
OK, OK, I'll sweeten the deal. You can have Josh Bailey back, too........plus his chains. |

Boychuk (upper body) out today, seeing a doctor to get checked out. Clutterbuck (lower) left ice early.

Capuano said Boychuk's issue has been nagging him, wanted him to get it checked out No idea how long he could be out. |

Hopefully it's nothing serious. This could move up Pulock and open room for Pelech. |

Nagging him for how long?? Boychuk did not look good in the playoffs, but claimed he was fine. If he's been hurting since last season, wouldn't it have made sense for him to get it checked out months ago instead of waiting until now?? |

I was thinking the same thing but who knows what it is and when it started? Though the word nagging makes it sound like it's been going on for a while... |

Boychuk will be fine. Thankfully we have pelech and mayfield.
This would have been the excuse to put strait in

I would be willing to guess its something different. I can't see any player waiting 4 months to say something about an injury if its serious enough to keep him off the ice IMO |

I hope so, but "nagging" injury. Camp just opened, how "nagging" can it be? Hopefully nothing serious. |

It could be the same injury. Maybe he thought it healed then it flared up again. Hopefully it’s not serious. |

Saw some hate for kulimen on twitter earlier. Was looking to see what people here thought
As a third line checking winger i dont think hes bad. His contract is high but other than that i dont see the problem. He back checks, plays the PK. He had a few good looks with team Russia already and seems to be infront of the net battling.
