After watching him shoot into the shins of 5 defenders in a row on the PP im not so sure about that

Having Torts coach was a problem from day one. Like it or not, the superstars in the league aren't the old school guys anymore. His style of "(frank) you Im the coach and I am god. You suck" won't fly with young guys who have been treated like kings since they were 12. The sooner he's gone the better.

I know everyone is going to say sample size, blah, blah....

But Laine going 2nd overall seems like a mistake to me.....and I said it at draft time.

I went in to today hoping he would be lighting it up so NA could play again but if I'm Winnipeg, after today and the previous games, I'd be concerned.

He just takes low chance shots which end up wasting the chance for any real play. Doesn't even try to make a play himself. And don't get me started on his skating...
