At this point I have no idea how the Leafs season will go...not going to Lie part of me feels the Leafs can push for a playoff spot.

I really hope I dont have to hope for losses again and study up on the top 5 picks Like I have the past 2 seasons..really over being that type of fan

I hope that this upcoming draft is indeed weak compared to previous years and the Leafs start using their draft picks to start poaching decent players and older prospects prior to the expansion draft.

I don't think Buffalos team was that bad last year and they improved pretty significantly compared to the previous year, yet that was still bottom 10. I am expecting pretty much the same trajectory this year but would love to be surprised.

I know, I live in London and had no plans to go to any of the games, but on Tuesday morning I thought I would just check to see what resellers were selling them for, and when I saw the price I ordered on the spot and took a 1/2 vacation day to go yesterday. Very glad I decided to check.

Cool. We'll iron out details (squad size, positions etc) later, especially when we know how many folks we have. It'll almost certainly be a free league. As of now it's not a keeper, though if there's overwhelming support in favour (votes to come around christmas) then we can do that. It's only one year old so we're really just working everything out.

(EDIT: I'm new to this commish business so still trying to figure everything out - will invite you when I figure out how )

Actually wasn't that bad. I got mine from Kijiji. Paid $90 Cdn each for Russia (1st row, upper bowl) and $95 Cdn each for Sweden (10 rows from the ice).

H2H points. We had 10 last year, I've made 6 more slots available and two have yet to renew (so eight confirmed right now) - squad size will be determined somewhat by how many people we have. More people playing = smaller squads - we don;t want to be stuck with the Backes' and Abdekaders getting overvalued .

It's not a keeper as of yet but we can vote on that later. Draft yet to be set, will likely be the Sunday before, maybe around 8pm EST (we'll figure out a time that works).

After reading Bobby mac's 2017 projections, man....

Everyone who said the Leafs tanked at the wrong time (referring to missing at McDavid) were not exactly spot on.

1. Because Matthews looks great and I'm happy to have him and
2. Because previous Leafs regimes, being the clunky doofuses they were, would have tanked THIS year and drafted a 2nd line C 1st overall

Gonna be great to be able to root for a team to win, rather than to lose.
