you can write in 30-35 g/65 points for Max in pen. no more, no less. Galchenyuk should be good 30 as well and Gallagher can come close to that mark as well. the big questions are Radulov and Weber. if Radulov can product at the clip he did in Nashville and Weber can do the same, Montreal should have enough offence. not a great offence, but enough given their goaltending. - DoubleDown
I don't see how Weber is a question mark. Radulov? Major question mark.

Don't forget that Weber is much better in his own end than Subban. - Rinosaur
OK sure. Is that in the same way that Berglund sucks? |

Let's be real here.
Price is the best goalie in the world. It isn't close. It isn't even a debate.
Yes, I can say that about a Hab and not feel that my life and self-esteem has been damaged by the admission. Some other people here need to learn that lesson. |

I wouldn't say it isn't close. I agree, but... It's not a debate... to me. Anymore. |

I can totally agree with Cordell. I think WPG has a good chance of grabbing the last spot in the Central. They're offense should really come together this year plus you have Hellebyuuewwk who I think is going to be one of the top goalies in the NHL for years to come.
I can also agree with French although I don't think MTL making the playoffs would be that much of a surprise. There are a lot of question marks in the Atlantic outside of Tampa and FLA. A season with a healthy Price alone should give them a much bigger chance. I also think Weber is going to add a little more stability.
Tanner - Carolina will definitely be better, but I can't see them finishing any higher than they did last year. It's hard to imagine PHI or NYR could finish below them. - Rinosaur
Agree with Cordell and French. I think the odds are very low that Montreal misses again, provided Price is healthy.
Not sure about Carolina. Lots of young talent there, but they might not be ready yet. |

I feel like Tanner stops following Oilers players immediately after they're drafted.
Then just sits in denial as they enter a league where backchecking and defensive development are paramount. |

Not to mention Weber's goal scoring
Weber 20 goals vs 23 goals for Montreal's entire defense |

Weber will be good for Montreal. But far worse than Subban. What he adds in goals for he will give up twice over in goals against. |

Andersen makes your list of top tier yet you raise questions about Holtby? Consistently good to elite starter numbers, did so behind a less-than stalwart team early in his career. Elite totals in the playoffs. Better numbers in just about every capacity than Andersen and just completed a record-tying season. There's no valid argument to keep him out of the league's top-5 goalies. |

Price? I think he IS the best there is right now, but the group at the top is tight, and it coudl be any of Schneider, Price, Lundqvist, Andersen, or even one of these one-offs like SerBob or Bishop. Maybe Rinne finally gets back to form. He was top 2 or 3 for a few years. Does Holtby keep his play up?
Anyway, if I had to put money, and only choose 1 goalie, it'd be Price.
But there is always a fair bit of variance in top goalies from year to year. - prock

I'm pretty sure this makes no sense. What you've added in terms of letters typed, you've given up twice over in it being nonsensical. |

"I still think Corey Schneider is the best goalie in the world." - Tanner: Team Finland
He sure was a great backup to Carey Price in the World Cup.
I think Hockey Canada's management know a LOT more about hockey than you do. |
