"NYR have no youth!!" - jimbro83
Zero, no skill or talent whatsoever.
Oh, also, Hank is being made fun of for letting in that game winning goal that two goalies, simultaneously, couldn't stop.
Anti-Ranger agendas will never die on the internet. |

Yeah me too. I'm expecting Vesey and Nieves to make the team and share the Calder. - mdw7413
Think Nieves start the season in the minors. Vesey and Buchnevich make the team out of camp. I'd keep my eye on Day, not to make the team out of camp but to put the team on notice with an impressive showing early on. |

I was under the assumption Day was going back to Juniors after camp. Hope I'm wrong |

I think he does eventually but not before showing off the skill set that granted him exceptional status in the OHL.
Some really good developments out of this tournament for the Rangers. Vesey was the brightest spot but Nieves did well, Day scored a few goals, Stromwall and Kovacs look promising and Buchnevich, although not spectacular, appears to have a much more well rounded game than many initially thought. |

Yup. Pretty much what I expect. No way Vesey doesn't start with the team. We all know Buchnevich's situation so he will definitely get looked at.
Nieves will get a call up sooner rather than later if someone is struggling or injuries. |

What's good about the forward situation is players like Nieves, Jensen, Hrivik, Stromwall and Kovacs provide quality minor league depth if injuries kick in or some Ranger forwards performance is the drizzling sh!ts. |

Can't forget they brought in Grabner, Gerbe, Pirri, Jooris, going to be some good competition for a few spots. Only see one of Grabner or Gerbe sticking. Jooris I hope makes it and same with Pirri.
So basically Nash, Kreider, Stepan, Miller, Zuke, Zibanejad, Hayes, Vesey..
All those forwards for 4 spots. When Lindberg comes back 3 spots. |

Grebe looks like the 13th forward once Lindberg is back. Jooris the 14th and that is a great thing because there are so many solid options to select from this season; forward depth is going to be their strength all season. |

I don't know, Jooris was very well liked in Calgary. Seems to be a very decent bottom 6 player. |
