I'm not a fan of the tourney, but all of the team NA games have been really entertaining. In general, the quality of the teams is pretty impressive. I just hope not too many major injuries happen that mess the regular season up, that and the money grab have been my two big issues. If Ekblad and Seguin are out for significant amounts of time, then there shouldn't be another one of these fake Olympics.

Its voluntary to play, anyone can say no thanks....it's an honour to play for your country. But I can certainly understand the guys that said no thanks. 95% of the best in the world are playing.

I think torts style is too old school ...he can't connect and get through to the kids ...he belongs on espn or nbc fighting with the likes of Roenick or milbury ...or better yet put him Pierre McGuire and jack Edwards on to call games ...could be some gold right there

I wish the Canucks could defend like team Canada, I know there a wide talent disparity there but I don't care what anyone says, Babcock is a good coach. The Leafs had half the talent the Canucks did last year and they still had a better goal differential.

You have a stadium full of Canadians supporting their team and in a game Vs the USA and they are all standing and singing the US national anthem.#respect. Then you have multi millionaires playing a f@cking kids game in the NFL sitting because they are "oppressed". F@ck me. What the f@ck is wrong with people.

The Olympics is an actual meaningful event where the best athletes in the world compete for their country in a multitude of sports. You didn't debunk anything, but thanks. The logic is the world cup of hockey is a lesser thing than the Olympics, which it most definitely is as the world cup of hockey is one sport, created by millionaires to make money and not actually a level playing field where countries compete (notice that Voynov and Kovalchuk are not here?, how there are teams Europe and NA?). NHL players in a tournament that is meaningless getting injured, sounds bad to me. The hockey has been good though!

except the world cup of soccer doesn't have teams composed of multiple countries and has qualifying rounds which allows for teams from all over the world to compete. It is Quality, I won't argue that.
