Does LE mean Loui Eriksson?? Cus he's only missed 20 games over the last 8 seasons - what do you think "frequently" means?

in terms of Gudbranson I think is definitely a player to be excited about - he brings size/strength to the D that we lack.

- Brooks_Light

Correct. I have a feeling I was mistaken his past injuries for someone else. Could have sworn the dude was made of glass. My bad.

Nice, patient comeback by the Swedes after they got buried at the beginning of the game. Maybe there's something to be said for experience after all...

Sweden just needs one point to advance.

Yep. That 3-on-3 was UNREAL.

Daniel foiled on a breakaway at one end, then an unbelievable move by MacKinnon in front of Lundqvist for the winner.

Swedes advance; kids stay alive. Now it's up to Russia tomorrow against the Finns to determine who's the second team.

it would have been pretty good if Sedin had scored... then it would have been great. but now it kinda sucks cuz the Swedes lost.

Why do you hate them so much? that was exciting as (frank). Canada vs Sweden or North America would be a great game..

Sorry I am not cheering for Canada or team NA.

They already won by going to overtime

The outcome in overtime didn't matter to them

I am enjoying what I have seenI like hockey. I watched other shows like Ted Dansons new ( horrible ) show while Canada was playing and tonight will be watching Survivor Big Brother finale , and Designated Survivor and not watching Team Canada. I still want Sweden to winso I still think the tournament is just ok .

The Lundqvist save on Connor was pretty good as well

If I had to pick a scenario being NA I think this isn't too bad ...the Finns are probably one of the only teams that would be out of it and still play hard and the Russians are proned to choke in winnable spots

I haven't been paying attention, if Rus wins will it come down to goal differential then?

I just wanted Sweden to be guaranteed a semifinal spot. Wasn't too worried about the final outcome, and I don't think the Sedins were either when they blew the zone to leave MacKinnon all alone in front of Lundqvist. They were thinking offense.

I'm OK either way with whichever other team advances from Group B. Team North America is fun to watch, but the Russians have had such a rough ride lately in international competition. I'd be OK with having them in the mix.

I am also cheering for Europe - because of their underdog status and the Canucks connections. But I also like Canada. So my three teams are all in.
