Let's put all the racist talk to rest, or I'll take care of it.

I thought Hateful 8 was one of his best. Far better than Inglorious B.

His films are always so divisive upon which are good and bad IMO.

His first few films IMO are by far the best, True Romance, Natural Born, Dusk til Dawn, Pulp and Dogs (which is my favorite) but after that Inglorious is the only other one of his films I really enjoyed. Kill bill was okay in parts.

Yeah Agree...Jackie Brown was also one of his best IMO. Kill Bills yielded some pretty great scenes but easily could have been one movie and trimmed down a bit.

Hateful 8 I just thought he is rehashing a lot. You could see it starting with Django. Django again was ok yielded some great scenes but you can tell he is losing it a bit with hateful 8. The Basterds was by far his last best film. But it's an opinion of course.

And with True Romance, NBK and Dusk I don't think he was in complete charge of the films like his others...just wrote them?

Death Proof was also very...very good.

Ya, I know a lot of people really got into Death Proof but again I didn't. I had forgot about Jackie Brown, it was good but not on the level of Dogs or Pulp for me.

McKenzie's Draft Ratings.

6. Gabe Vilardi: The Windsor Spitfire is a slick and skilled offensive centre with high-end hockey sense who excels at making plays but can also finish them.
Vilardi was reportedly the best player at Canada's Ivan Hlinka tournament selection camp -- apparently by a wide margin -- but suffered a knee injury there and wasn't able to play in the tournament.
Vilardi isn't a high-end or pretty skater, but it's not a weakness either. His strength on the puck, skill and smarts are noteworthy. Seven of 10 scouts ranked him in the Top 10.

Unless we luck out and win the lotto this time

I wish I could agree. Hateful 8 started out so good and just fizzled out in the middle and I thought the ending was brutal for a Tarantino flick. But to each their own of course.

Nobody agrees on his films. The actors were excellent and there was lots of snow so I liked it His earlier films were awesome, although Pulp Fiction was not one of my favourites.

The Hateful 8 had to be re written because the script was released by the Sony hackers. The early teaser had nothing to do with the movie that was released.

New blog is up, as Russia/Finland gets underway to determine Canada's semifinal opponent.

The second semifinal between Sweden & Europe means that the Canucks are guaranteed at least two players in the World Cup Final.
