I'd say Sam & Jack are pretty close to a sure thing...
But of they get injured or struggle on the score sheet the their payday could decrease quite a bit
I'll bet Girgs wishes he signed last offseason instead of this

I felt the same way but this is some of the best hockey I've seen in ions. NA is fun to watch. The future of hockey is in great hands.
And I will say way too many teams in the NHL, the talent level is diluted and we are gonna add another next year? Maybe Quebec City in a few years? Ugh. |

You do when the metric is actually number of viewers. The only reason Buffalo's ratings are so high is because the population is so low.

It's still the number 1 rated team, you don't get rid of successful teams. And if you look at the bottom 5 teams you have LA, NY, Phoenix and Miami, LA is ~12x bigger than Buffalo. Yet we get 15x the ratings of Anaheim(LA).
Edit: and that was last year with a not great team. Imagine what the ratings will be once they're good again?
Double edit: They're easily in the top 10 for total viewers. They got almost 2x the rating of Boston who was in 5th. |
