Yeah and his last one had sooo much to do with MacKinnon's goal. Russia will crush the Fin's tomorrow in regulation and Ghost can get into training camp to start another first round exit or worse campaign for the Flyers. Go get em Ghost. - Hatboro_Swords
Wow, pointers on how to lose from a Buffalo fan. Sounds about right. |

I actually liked it. Gus walking out and adjusting his tie despite having half of his face blown off was the perfect "Everything is fine" moment. - PhillySportsGuy

Don't know if it was brought up already and too lazy to back read, but did anyone else see that clown Pinocchio claiming the Flyers already penciled Provorov in and he's virtually a lock to make the team? I don't understand how this guy has a job. I seriously could write better articles then him. |

Only if Streit is traded, IMO. The Flyers really, really do not want to waive MacDonald again and the bar is being set pretty high for Provorov to make it. A just OK camp (basically the equivalent how he played in the Memorial Cup) won't be enough. He will have to excel (basically the equivalent of his WJC and play for the final 3/4 of last season). - bmeltzer
He'll be back in Brandon........end up being traded to another WHL team for a king's ransom

What the hell is he complaining about? They won and Ghost had 3 assists including one on the winner?? High standards from a Buffalo fan. |

He should've won the game in regulation if he's the darling everyone thinks he is. Team NA would've been guaranteed in. Now they gotta hope Fins beat the Russians and if you've been watching, highly unlikely given the way Kuznetsov and Kucherov have been playing. |

Eichel has been horrendous this World Cup with his lazy, uninspired play. He's also singlehandedly wrecking PP1 with his moronic decisions to just throw everything down low into the slot to get picked off and not look up top once. Guy seriously doesn't know how to cycle for the life of him, at ES too. Gaudreau should be on that left wall pronto for Eichel. With all that bed poopting, I feel bad for whoever Jack's roommate is this tournament.
And Matthews looks like the far better player -- at both ends -- compared to Jack AINEC. Should've just tanked another year and tried to get him. |

I know some of you guys may not want to hear this, but I'm rooting for Russia today. Ghost and Coots seem to be healthy right now and, with that in mind, I'd rather have them in camp than risking injury in a tournament that means nothing to me.

I don't really understand how they wouldn't go to a goal differential tie breaker. I get it. In the Russia-NA game, Russia ended up winning, but it is like a game of rock paper scissors. Sweden beats Russia, Russia beats North America, and North America beats Sweden. Rock isn't better than scissors cause it won head to head. |

I agree, but those are the rules. Flyers win either way.
If Finland loses, Ghost/Coots have a jump start on camp and will be in full attendance.
If Finland wins, Ghost/Coots get to play against the best collection of players in the world (Team Europe, I mean, Canada). |
