Did you see in HUT (Ultimate Team) there is a special Nicklas Grossmann player card that is a 94 overall - arichardson22
Not 94, but close. Same for Manny Malholtra
I never got the HUT thing. Something about buying packs or some stuff. I just used the Be A GM and Be A Pro mode.

Knew it was 90 something. Meant to comment yesterday/last night when I actually was playing. But yeah I'm more of GM , Pro mode, and online play kind of guy compared to HUT. I've purchased packs in last year's game and very rarely are you glad you bought a pack
Up in Canada for the world cup. Couple things I've seen.
Trouba has so much opportunity in his game. I don't get the love for him. Watching him play live was painful. Ghost was in the dog house until north America needed offense than McLellan finally let ghost fly. Murray all 4 goals looked like garbage goals. The stadium was furious. Russia represented well but north America is the fan favorites around here. North America gear is rivaling Canadian.
Europe verse czech. Europe doesn't even look like they care most of the game than just decide to try when they need a goal. See if that changes verse Canada.
Overall the event has been a ton of fun. Ton of alumni and hall of famers around. The crowd has been great. My only complaint is 13.25$ for beer. The stadium is a lot smaller. The seats are tighter. The bathrooms have half the urinals and lines are insanely long. Things like this are definitely new to me. Stadium square footage wise looks baby sized compared to wells fargo. The fan village is fun and there's a ton of alumni around. So far I met guys like weight Bondra and than caught the entire czech team and burns/Thornton for canada.

Rumor up here is giroux tweaked his back. - Tfaehner
They had none of the events surrounding the games when World Cup was here 20 years ago, so that's cool you got to those events.
How big are the beers for $13.25? They better be 22 oz beers for that price.
And if G is really injured, I hope he gets called back.
Yeah, but that Tuesday evening game against Ottawa is gonna be worth it all. - jmatchett383
Games during the week are not my all-time favorite thing in the world just because of what it takes to get there, driving wise, after work. I usually pick a bunch of weekend games in the spring....and usually that means a Saturday afternoon game against Pittsburgh or NYR.
I know the 2 Detroit games within a week of each other in November are going to be worth every penny along with the Vancouver one in January. - dragonoffrost
I have a friend that really likes Detroit and kills to get that game.

The only two NBC games are at home against the Rangers on Black Friday (I'll be there) and at the Pens on 2/25.
The NBCSN games are littered throughout the schedule and are generally during the week. - johndewar
I'll be at the Black Friday game also as I just took that week off due to the Sept 30 Billy Joel concert at MSG being postponed until November 21.
Yeah but NBC is really the only reason they should be playing an afternoon game. If you aren't getting the national audience why not get the most local eyes on it you can?
Last year it was $11 for 24 oz beers. I'll know next Tuesday night how bad we're getting abused this season. - dragonoffrost
I'm not going to tell someone what they can and can't do, or how to spend their money, but since they're so expensive, do you really need to buy the beers to enjoy the game?

Also, likely, stronger beer. - johndewar
I only had a few American beers when I went to Toronto last year due to figuring I was in Canada so I should drink Canadian beers until I could barely stand then switch up to American stuff I could drink like water. Well let's just say after night one the plan was altered a bit.
