Eakins did a lot of things great. Just nothing to do with Hockey. Give the guy a little respect! Without him you don't have McDavid!

I liked Ralph as well. He at least knew how to use the talent to put together a good power play. Plus he is the Yak whisperer.

His mental/psychological stuff annoyed me at times, but he really did do well with the talent he had. But yeah, we probably wouldn't have McDavid right now if we kept Krueger.

Iggy needs to get laid

His mental/psychological stuff annoyed me at times, but he really did do well with the talent he had. But yeah, we probably wouldn't have McDavid right now if we kept Krueger.

I liked Ralph and wanted him kept at the time too but to say he did well is a real stretch. We finished 7th last in a short season and we were heading south quickly as the season wound down( we lost 9 of the last 12 and beat Vancouver and Minny the final two games of the year when they didn't matter anymore). Yak had a month of shooting over 20% which no one thought was sustainable. He had a very lucky stretch. A full season we still would have finished bottom 5 and who knows what would have happened the following two years.
