Eichel had 24 goals last season, and showed the potential for much more with his nose for the net and nasty shot. He’s got every tool to become a star in this league – the skating, the hands, that shot. If he lines up with Okposo, watch out.
He already is a star. He scored 56 points as an 18-19 year old. Good god what did he have to do?
4 – Evander Kane
What a mess. Kane’s had two run-ins with the law in Buffalo, both involving alleged violence against women; the second incident resulted in his arrest. He has two years left at $5.25 million against the cap. The Sabres want to move him out; is there another team that craves 25 goals so badly that it’ll swallow the bile (and carry the baggage) that arrives with Kane?
Is there a chance he isn't here this year? This is now the 5th or 6th person to make a statement like this, that they have tried to move him.

One report turns into everybody else's source.
Wyshinski has a good column, and is a good writer, but his strength is more in snark and humor than in hard reporting.

Agreed, just seems like a lot of smoke for there not to be fire.
But it wouldn't make sense now - sbroads24
I think it's highly doubtful the Sabres move Kane now. If he stays out of the police blotter and puts up a good season, his value is more tradeable at the deadline, if that's the route Murray chooses.
If the return is good I think you look at it. Will Murray do it? - mhp
Interesting question. If you're like some on here you probably say "no chance, Murray is married to him." but he's shown the willingness to make big moves, so, if it's a good return I think he does.

It's a good question. I think if Kane has a good year (25-30 goals) it will justify the trade somewhat in Murray's eyes and he won't move him at all. Kane and Nylander in 17/18 on the LW would be good and also gives them a formidable presence on that side on the pp.
Ottawa signs Bartkowski on a PTO. I would have liked us to do that deal, damn. - mhp
Murray apparently really doesn't like PTOs. I remember him saying something like: why invite a guy you know more than likely isn't going to make your team?

Yeah he seems to want to avoid them. I would be open to the idea but do it selectively.
Yeah, I saw the new one on my recommended feed in YT this afternoon, but didn't watch it, and didn't know it was in Buffalo until it was posted here, pretty cool video, wonder how many sets of tires he went through? I'm guessing at least 3.

Yeah, who knows? Either way it's really quite entertaining. They even managed to make that part of Buffalo look not entirely run down. Now that takes some skill.

I worked for the Buf news back in 84-86 so I recognized the area. Got the link from my cuz in SC. Some cool shots of the city down there. Was kept hush hush as they didn't want crowds during the filming .

Brett Hull is a wrinkly overweight load. He talks like he has 3 pitchers of Coors in his big fat belly. The "shoes" he's wearing with that suit looks like they have velcro closures.
It wouldnt surprise me if he has a bucket of extra crispy sitting behind his desk - with 14 bones and 6 pieces (all biscuits already gone).

The lighting really helped, especially the last sequence and the drone shots of the water. Beautiful. I wonder when they shot it? Everything wasn't totally burned out.
