They didn't get "embarrassed" by the US. Canada carried most of the play. If Price plays like he did tonight, Canada wins that game too. Like I said, if Canada loses this tournament, it will be because of goaltending.

I'm not sure it matters. Both Canada and the US get 3 players at the most from that team. To me, it's a wash. It might be more fun to see McDavid versus Eichel in a USA-Canada setting, but we've seen it twice in the past two years, and I don't see the result being any different.

I think to even it out, because of Europe, they didn't want Norway or Switzerland to spoil their cash grab. Plus, gimmick usually equals money. NA and Europe will not be a part of any further World Cups of Hockey. They're going to a qualification tournament for the final 2 teams.

I would lobve to see the Sabres make one more move for a winger. We are week on depth at LW and one more Ennis injury away from terribly desperate at LW. I'm sure we are waiting to settle contracts but the puck drops in 3 weeks.

Lundqvist was looking very un-Lundqvist like last night. I missed the first couple goals in that game. Turned it on right before Draisaitl scored his 2nd of the night (which was a really great goal).
