If Prust makes the Leafs, will you guys be happy, angry or meh?

He's in tough to make it imo. Tight on roster spots and cap space.

I'd be angry if a young guy earns it but loses a spot to him.

Matthews and Nylander together, if Babcock does that and it sticks, could be a very upsetting combo to play against...you got Kadri JVR...Marner Brown...you got some ill skill on the team suddenly...young man's game...could get pretty kewl before you know it...Go Leafs Go

I can't (frank)ing wait. I love hearing what coaches say about Matthews. They are all very impressed. McClellan said he was gifted. And you gotta also consider that (frank)ing Babcock is his coach. The most revered coach on earth.

Probably meh...I trust these guys to take guys who can play and not get Burkie with it...if Prust makes the team I trust Babcock for now...

It's gonna be fun to watch. Speaking of Prust if the kids are lighting it up and that means guys like Martin, Komogod whoever have to hit everything and punch guys, that could be fun hockey.

When I heard Kadri on the radio, when they asked him about healthy competition from centres coming in, Kadri really sounded like he meant it when said I'm at the point, I just want the team to be better. You could hear Boston Game 7 in that voice. He wants to win hockey games, he's stoked about the kids.

Prust chose to sign with the Habs so Holland signed Tootoo instead.

Me neither bit I can definitely see it happening. It's gonna be a number's game right? Prolonging Marner for next year, may buy them another year of the rebuild (which to be fair is rocky ground for the Leafs). I can't imagine you won't see a healthy dosage of Komarov, Martin, JVR, Nylander, Michalek and Greening. That's 6. Add in possibly Lupul, then you've got Hyman, Brown, Soshnikov, Reichel and Marner for one spot. Easiest thing to do is keep Mitch down for one more year

So dumb.... But those Tucker's and such so awesome.

Leafs fans have a history of being tough on player (McCabe, Murphy) but those were veterans that were highly paid and precived to not be living up to that pay check/made unforgivable mistakes (own goal) and sometimes both of them at the same time.

Leaf fans think he prevented some dynasty from being founded by not waiving his no-trade clause, when they know full well the ownership and subsequent management was (frank)ing it all up on multiple levels anyway so it didn't matter. All Sundin did was try to carry the team on his back into the playoffs once again and go down with the ship like a true Captain, and some Leaf fans want to fault the man. It makes no sense to me.
