maatta could surprise, good call.
he just needs to play 82 games and quit moving around on the depth chart because of it.

I would have to think that Ryan Ellis should be on this list.
I wonder how the d pairings are going to work out in Nashville? Anyone have any insight?
Ellis would run the first PP on well over half of the teams in the league....
Should be interesting! |

Sorry fellas,
It is what it is.
I just rank the players on how they produce, not how much I like em |

98 points in 141 NHL games for Klingberg, coming off a 58 point season. Top pairing D, and only D man to play on the point on the powerplay with Seguin, Benn, Spezza and Sharp.
Pietrangelo is the captain and healthy to start the season with Jay Bou. he's on the secnd powerplay, but STL has a powerhouse team so their second PP is somewhat comparable to other teams first PP. (Fabbri - Stastny -Perron - Pietrangelo - Parayko). I assume he put up around 40-45 points and Rielly around 37-42 points(he got 36 last year). That's how tight the rankings are.
any other questions keep em coming and I'll explain why I rank players where they are. |

The rankings are only based upon points ?
Hard to do I understand. |
