Yes, I have Severson just outside the top 50.

I did manage to scoop him up in keeper last year when someone dropped him, and I held on hoping his game would improve. The trade helped me tons!

good addition BB!

Thanks,Lucas always a pleasure to read your stuff and contribute what I can to the comments.

We finally got everyone online to complete our draft last night. The slow draft took 8 days and we only got it done because the commissioner made the guy who kept holding up the process set an auto queue to pick.

I grabbed Severson with the final pick, 17th round 153rd overall. That's with 99 players already off the board due to 8 keepers plus 3 minors times 9 teams.

Maybe I'll PM you later with my full roster/draft results.

I think Fowler slipped on the depth chart personally.

IMO vatanen is their QB on the PP
and I think Lindholm is a better option all round.

Actually, I look deep each year and try to pluck a player or two who gets PK/PP time as well as decent 5 on 5 ice time.

Guys like Toews have a large amount of fantasy value for this exact reason.

shutouts - yes, I agree, but we like to have 8 offensive categories and 4 goalie categories. With save % and GAA already in the mix, we didn't like the "shots" option and went with shutouts.

I wouldn't join a league with those stats anymore. Been there done that.

Holtby had his breakout season last year, COULD be tricky to repeat.

Remember the season before he was battling for the job with 2 other goalies.

Price is coming off an injury plagued season and the Habs are quite likely not a playoff team. He's an even riskier pick I'd say. Holtby finished 2nd in wins in 2014-15 too btw, he's a pretty safe pick.

I'd take Bishop over Price at this point even.

I would tend to agree with you on Holtby, but I don't know about Bishop. Don't forget that Tampa has Vasilevskiy. If healthy, Price will play most of the time.

It's pretty split between Bishop and Price if we look at current drafting trends on Yahoo so there's an argument to be made for both of them for sure.

I'd say the risk of Bishop starting less than 60 games due to Vasilevsky emerging as a top goalie is no higher than the risk of Price starting less than 60 due to injury myself. The thing I'd be most worried about is Bishop getting traded at some point.

to each their own, I'm in a number of different setups.

our 45 man keeper pool has every stat you can think of, it's wild.

some years ive drafted great goalies and they sucked, and my waiver goalies were better...mind blow.

I had Price and Bobrovsky in a league last year.
