The protests are not about the flag nor are they about the anthem - and they are certainly not about 9/11. They're about bringing awareness to a disproportionate amount of violence from the police to black people. That's it. The fact that this poop has been going on for years and Richard all has happened is why we're at this point. People aren't listening. There's no investigations. If the state police forces showed that they were doing anything - literally anything - to figure out what was going on and how to fix it then this wouldn't happen...

But standing for the anthem (or not) has nothing to do with 9/11. If somebody sat for a 9/11 tribute that's a whole different story, but that's not the case.

If you want to truly respect the country, then you hold it to a high standard. And you get pissed off when it's not held to that standard. Because the people who are disrespecting it are those who allow racism, sexism, and any other form of discrimination to occur, and NOT those who raise awareness to the fact that discrimination occurs...

Well, actually I have a Mac. I've had both. You were talking about this last week right? If you don't really do much with the computer other than the internet you're probably better off with a laptop. You can get them pretty cheap, especially now with back-to-school sales. Just make sure you get at least 8gb of RAM. You don't need a crazy processor or graphics card unless you're going to game. I have 16gb of RAM and I occasionally run low, but I sometimes have like 100 Chrome tabs open with a stream going. But if you want to do anything other than stream a hockey/football game, netflix whatever. You're going to want a decent amount of RAM. That's the thing you'll notice affects performance more than anything for putzing around the internet.

Solid State Drive. Like what's on your phone. It's a storage drive that doesn't spin like a hard drive. They're much faster, but also much more expensive and not nearly as much capacity.
